Rebranding of the brand and Brand Design

Create the rebranding of a brand is part of the activity of branding but it has many implications on your development. In this case, the analysis of the past of the company and its communication strategy should be taken into account, and the project of brand design and graphic design should be surgical!

The creation of a new brand and the whole strategy surrounding the same is what usually calls the branding. The process of creation, or better said, the modernisation of an existing brand is usual to call-if rebranding and is of a series of constraints that must be taken into account.

To create a new brand, we have to study the position the brand wants to have on the market, analyze the competition and develop the project taking into account our vision of the present and the future (our agency and client team), to create or reformularmos a brand and logo already existing we that have even more constraints into account, in addition to those referred to previously.

The reformularmos a brand and corporate identity that already exists in the market, we have to look not only at your present strategy and future communication, but also all its past. It is of vital importance to collect all the information related to logos and corporate identity that existed in the past, to understand their logic (if there was), analyze which attributes “go through” to the clients, either the attributes that are transmitted by the corporate identity, both those that are transmitted in many other ways (shopping area, facilities, etc.). To perceive, to understand, to analyze, to reflect on the image that currently customers have of the company is very important to define what is the evolution of the corporate identity and the creation of the brand and the logo should follow.

In our design agency and branding, the development of this kind of projects are based on a methodology designed by the DesignarteTM. Created in 2002, this methodology has already been successfully implemented in dozens of companies, having been based on the approach to semiotics – Triangular Model of the Brand – developed by Prof. Doutor Paulo de Lencastre.

Our methodology for brand design provides a reflection on the competition and undertakes a thorough survey of their current customers about the associations they make to the company, having as main objective the design of a Corporate Identity based on an axis communications strong, consistent and “communicate” with the market positioning is set, distinguishing themselves clearly from the competition.

In the course of the process of branding or rebranding, and through an effective interaction between the client and the DesignarteTM, our methodology turns out to greatly help the client (if this you want) to set, reset or verify the position that you have adopted.
